Nelson Sauvin Pale Ale - hop schedule questions?

Nelson is one of, if not, my favorite variety. I would double your final dry hop if you're feeling ballsy. FWIW my IPA just took gold at the world cup of beer and I used loads of nelson with just a touch of galaxy. I dry hopped with 5oz nelson and 1.5oz galaxy so I'd say up the dry hop to really...

Hop Tea at Bottling more recently?

I've done the french press hop tea twice when transferring to keg. Although those beers were nice and hoppy with great aroma I couldn't give the credit to the hop tea. I'm sure it didn't hurt but I just didn't notice any real difference over my normal dry hopped beers. I used 1oz both times and...

    Victor regulator

The victor is holding pressure and worked fine over the weekend. The output gauge isn't very precise, 100psi max, but I have secondary regs so that doesn't matter. Seems to be ok so far so I'll rock it. It's extremely beefy/solid and I bet it will last a lifetime.

    Victor regulator

Besides being enormous and toppling over my 5lb tank does anyone see any issues with using this regulator? It's an old o2 regulator I converted to co2 for use on a fish tank years ago. My taprite reg has failed and I remembered I had the victor laying around in my heap of a garage.

    Show me your tap handles!

I soldered the caps on and drilled one end to attach to the faucets so they are empty. They're definitely sturdy enough for everyday use. I thought of using galvanized pipe too, which would look more industrial.

    The Brown Barn Brewery Build

Sure! Here's an old pic. The ceiling has been finished and there is a brewstand under the hood now. I feel you with finding time to work on it, this started with a dirt floor and stalls so it's come a long way.

Propane burner in garage - how much ventilation?

Get yourself a decent CO meter to know for sure. I wouldn't trust a poll with the dangers of carbon monoxide.

    The Brown Barn Brewery Build

Nicely done! Having a dedicated space must be so nice. I'm on year 4 of a barn build on my dads property. I can't wait till it's done so I can start my own barn thread. Keep the pics coming please.

    New England Pale Ale

Looks pretty solid and mighty tasty but it could turn out with a bit of a lingering bitterness. You may want to try it again with a smaller bittering charge and see how you like the difference. These NE apa/ipa's seem to have in common a soft bitterness which has to come from limited early...

    Drip tray mounting

here's how I did mine; I went the L bracket route and made a cut out of wood to take the 19" drip tray. Works great and growlers fit on it.
