Was that a total loss or an AOG project?

    Random Picture Thread

To be clear I worked manufacturing for 28 years of my life. I'm not an aviator, engineer, or A&P but I do recognize many of the things Dave posts. Was involved in many strut hangs (aka pylon that the engine eventually hangs on). The way it was explained to me fuse pins allow a complete strut...

    Love Golf?

Managed 18 holes from the silver tees today. Might as well hit silver since I can't put full power on the swings anyway. What a great day to be out. Sunny, 71 degrees and I hit some pretty good shots all things considered. Not really ready for 18 holes on the new hip yet, wheels fell off the...

Thank you for the explaining. That makes far more sense than my assumptions, lol.

I think "the only airplane I've ever specifically said not to make a part of my flight plan when making reservations". It just doesn't look right, there's a big ass turbo fan in the tail. Not sure how a fuse pin would work in the tail?

Is microbrew the place in Kenmore?

    The "Dear" , "Sincerely" thread

Most of the local delivery people have been acting odd. Not sure what kind of training they are getting but some pretty skittish behavior around here.

    Incompetence at brew shops

Have you tried giving them a list when you go in? I've found that to be a great help when getting several items at a specialty store that's run from behind a counter.

Recommendations on basic kegging equipment needed

There is a line length calculator somewhere, the recommended length for 1/4" serving lines gets pretty long. I'm still learning though so I all know is 10' for a 3/16" picnic tap.

Recommendations on basic kegging equipment needed

For the picnic tap I'd go with 3/16" 10 feet long. I serve at 12psi and that length gives me the perfect pour. I'd also suggest getting a few extra picnic taps. Mine seem to break every three months or so. I still need to get a chest freezer and taps. Currently lagering and serving out of...

The Dysfunctional-Palooza Obnoxious Masshole BS Thread

Where did the term Massholes come from? Asking for a friend. And laughing, I never took it as a serious insult. I loved most of the times I was in New England. At least Mass and NH, didn't have a good experience in Philly but that's not what this is about.

The Dysfunctional-Palooza Obnoxious Masshole BS Thread

I've been to Mass a few times. Was told to f off several times for no reason whatsoever. Massholes! It's quite the difference from Boston to Nashua. People in NH are nice! That was 30 years ago, maybe something has changed. I'll bow out now.

    Love Golf?

Went to a course today. Debated playing the big course but settled on the 9 hole par 3 that the big course front 9 goes around. Ended up 11 over for 9 holes, 17 putts, only held one of the postage stamp sized greens. I'm happy with it considering I haven't played since last June and the 2/3...

    Love Golf?

Got my preowned Rouge driver yesterday. Went to hit balls for the first time with the new hip. First time hitting anything but chips and pitches in the backyard since the hip went bad last June. I was surprised. Didn't get stuck in the downswing, hip worked just fine. I only hit about 2/3...

Anyone put themselves into "self isolation"?

Epilogue: I finally had a covid test. Drive through and negative. That led to seeing a doctor who diagnosed a sinus infection. Currently taking Augmentin for said infection and going on with my life.
