I wish I had the ability to work with PlatformIO. I have it installed but the learning curve is a little to steep for me. that being said I just cleaned and flashed an 8266 and got BPL running in less than a half-hour-

As to not clog up this thread with BPL issues I would ask your questions over at BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

Not to open another can of worms- but you can still use that PCB to run BrewPiLess

keep them in the shade- no full sun until they establish roots and you start to see new growth

I'm sure I saw this problem and the solution in this thread might be more hoops to jump through than just downloading buster. look back a few pages or do a search.

There seems to be a problem with stretch and the solution is to load buster

Do you have a four relay module? There is a jumper on the back of the display that needs to be jumped for the backlight to function

Quad Hopped- take that Miller Lite

I would set up a backup SD card with Buster and Fermentrack and have it ready to go in case your main SD card goes belly up. I'm not sure what the price of an RPI ZERO is down under but I can pick one up pretty cheap here. You could take your time and set up all of the extras and have it ready...

Yes but the default settings work well- You will never get it tighter than a .2 differential- think 1-2 degrees. there are safeguards in the code to protect the compressor from coming on too soon after it just shut off.RDWHAHB
