Alaska keezer build... My first attempt

Lot more than just a tower. If you have to start from scratch, you need kegs, co2 tank, QD's, tubing, regulator, manifold depending on amount of kegs, random hardware. If you go with a decent SS faucet, its easily ~50 bucks for a shank, faucet, and hardware. I just ordered 2 perlicks with...

    Another new guy!

Kegging is great. I bottles a couple batches, then got a free chest freezer. Nothing like drinking from your own taps.

    Need advice on faucets

I have a keezer using picnic taps at the moment. I'm ready to put faucets on it and I can't decide on what to get. No previous experience with faucets. Everything I read says get Perlicks, but they are not cheap. I understand spending more now, or end up spending more later, but is it really...

    Pouring wort to bucket fermenter

You could also use a nylon bag to put those in. I have one but again, nothing to get worried about.

    Pouring wort to bucket fermenter

Should I take a hydrometer reading?

    Extract brew OG anomaly

You are probably fine. I did the same thing with my last brew. Was supposed to come out at 1.046, only showed 1.025. I do partial boils. Hard to get an accurate reading. It came out great anyway.
