I got my tanks used and ugly from craigslist, so exchange makes more sense. Especially when Airgas wants $17 to exchange a 20 lb tank, and the fire extinguisher place that fills them wants $36.

I love the idea. Do you think that it would get gummy at all? I would imagine without being exposed to air it should be OK, but would love to hear from someone who knows.

Actually I am able to make a square, they fit in two deep, but there isn't much room to spare, if the kegs were a little bigger, there is room that you could offset. I don't have a picture of four on the floor, and right now I have 2 cornys and a tall 1/4 on the floor, but here is a pic of 3 on...

Yep, I think it is identical to the Magic Chef. I have had 6 cornys in with collar, 4 on the floor. You can also fit two on the floor with a 1/6 or even 1/4 slim. Seems like it was made for soda kegs. One word of warning though, Coke kegs don't fit two deep, so you won't get 4 of those on...

I have a 7.2 Sunbeam and I can fit a 1/2 pretty easily plus two cornys on the hump. Can you fit 2 cornys side by side? If so, you should be able to fit a 1/2.

Is there an o-ring there that gets pressed between the shank and faucet? I have had one fall out before.

I had a 1/2 bbl in it for a while, and it worked great, but I do have a collar. i couldn't tell you if it would fit with coupler without the collar. Below are a couple pictures, I hope they help. Let me know if you have questions. I have been very happy with it.

With two primaries the pressure going in to each is tank pressure, so it doesn't matter which one is higher pressure. With a primary and secondaries, the primary has to be as high or higher than the secondaries, because it is supplying the gas to them.

Wyeast Kolsch Ale 2565 is the one that hasn't done anything. I am wondering if the ones that did expand should even be used. Seems like if they were healthy they should have been inflated after a few hours.
