Agreed. I did buy 10# of Maris Otter. Really just as an experiment, and because they were cheap. No risk. This is definitely not something I'm going to make a habit of, but I had an order going already so I figured I'd attach them for $hits and giggles.

Interesting 🤔 It's kinda like adding actual pumpkin to a pumpkin ale. It may or may not contribute much, but it definitely feels like it just should be in there for authenticity sake. I'm glad I found someone that actually puts this to practice.

HB session IPA. Full pint brewers malt, Goldpils Vienna, Shaniko white wheat, Citra and Mosaic hops.

I think they use Centennial hops exclusively. That's my favorite classic American hop.

I wish they distributed that up in my neck of the woods. Almost embarrassed to admit I've never tried it.

I've heard they add a small percentage of old soured beer to each new batch. Something like that anyway. I can't remember where I heard that so take it with a grain of salt. Anyway... I guess it's one of the reasons it's so hard to reproduce.

I'm hoping to do a decent clone someday. I'm not a clone recipe guy but that's a challenge I'd like to attempt. I'll need to get nitro but I wanted to do that anyway.
