Indoor brew rooms and water management

I'm currently in the garage and am fine with staying there, but I could go to the basement and access drainage a bit easier. But then I would have to run about 50ft of 6 gauge line to get the 50a plug where I need it.

Indoor brew rooms and water management

Hi all - long time brewer but relatively new to electric and indoor brewing. I'm curious to how people keep their indoor spaces relatively clean and dry. I'm brewing in a large garage bay and have gotten into the habit of simply hosing out the bay and fermenting fridges for cleaning, letting...

I think this should be easy using craftbeerpi. I think you would assign each element to the same sensor address.

I did it a month or so ago. I used the same instructions for 2.2 and just changed the name - i e used 3.0 wherever 2.2 was

I figured it out. After I did an auto tune, the boil stop point defaulted back to 80f. I adjusted it up to 210 and voila- HLT works fine.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

Excellent. I'll just add a 90 elbow and assume the rest is the same. I'm also likely to go with a 1.5" vs 2"

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

Has anyone tried the lid mount version yet?

Any ideas why my HLT continues to rise beyond the set point?

I don't think it has a buzzer- at least I've never heard one or seen an option. I still claim it's the best off the shelf electric panel option.

Then you are pretty good to go, at least to do a water test

If the software is not loaded, nothing will happen. Think of it as a computer and a printer, but you don't have the driver installed yet. You can do it, but it will just sit there.

The instructions on his site are old but will still get you where you need to be. First step is to decide which software you want to go with: Craftbeerpi or Elsinore. You'll need a monitor (tv is fine if it has hdmi) and keyboard with a mouse. Plug it all in and fire it up and get on your...

Did you get it preloaded with craft beer pi?

    Hosehead Brewery

Hi all - did my first brew using the Hosehead craftbeerpi 3.0. I have quite a few under my belt using 2.2 In any event, I did an auto tune with water a few weeks back and it went well. A couple of issues came up during the first brew day. HLT sensor readings were wildly inaccurate, MT and BK to...

7.2 Cu ft Hisense keezer build

Bought one today. I stabbed through a coolant line last night whilst chipping ice out of my old kegerator, so it's time to build a new one.

    Hosehead controller expansion?

Partially an honest issue and partially an idiot mistake. The honest issue was not knowing what GPIO to use for the BK element. I have to be honest here- while Corey's customer service used to be excellent, it's terrible now. I searched until I found that for hosehead the gpio is 28. The...

I JUST figured it out. GPIO for the BK is #27. Water test tomorrow

    Hosehead controller expansion?

Hi all - I'm having some issues getting the boil kettle element configured with CBP 3.0. I've been doing very well with the hosehead/CBP 2.2 set up this past year but struggling to get 3.0 set up. Brewtronix seems to have fallen off the face of the earth as far as responding to folks.
