    Craft Beer Pi - Pi4

Not sure about the pi 4, but I am dealing with the port 5000 issue and this is what I’ve found so far. https://techdout.dev/2019/09/24/installing-craftbeerpi/

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Hi all - I’m a long time cbpi3 user but I’m completely stuck. CBPI was acting up yesterday to the point where it would no longer reboot. I scrapped the brew day and decided to buy a new SD, and downloaded a fresh raspbian OS. I reinstalled the card into the pi and downloaded a new copy of...

    Hosehead/Brewtronix users

Here’s the issue - with no support, it’s going to be a tough sell. However On the plus side, craftbeerpi still has a large user base and an active community, and most of the issues I’ve seen w the hose head are software related. Another plus is that all the parts in the hosehead are easily...

That would require me the open up the hosehead box [emoji23]. The settings would only have to be fiddled with once I wound think. I’ll experiment this weekend.

Has anyone ever assigned 2 elements to the same actor? I’m wondering if I could use the hose head w cbpi as a two element biab system.

1 bbl system- build vs off the shelf panel

The UL thing is my biggest concern to be honest. I can’t find anything to confirm that it’s required, but certainly don’t want to spend the time and cash to build one only to turn around and have to buy another one anyway.

Good use for an old RIMS tube

I’ve been thinking of ways to dry hop sans 02. This was what I came up with. Drop the hops in the tube. Flush with Co2. Cap the top. Open the butterfly valve. Close valve. Remove tube. First attempt resulted in an oz of Citra cannon blasting all over the garage. Can’t forget to remove...

1 bbl system- build vs off the shelf panel

Hi all - I’m beginning to piece together a 1 bbl system and would like to avoid the high price tag of an off the shelf panel. I’d like a 240v panel that’s capable of running 4x5500 watt elements, 2 in bk, 2 in hlt. I don’t think I’ll have the capacity to run all 4 at a time, so that will have...

I agree. When you open it up, there’s not that much going on. I’d love to find someone who has the 1 barrel expansion module and just build one myself.

I emailed Corey a few days back to ask if it was worth waiting for new products as I’m jumping up to a 1bbl but no response. So it looks like the Hosehead is dead.

Hi all- I've been trying to get in touch w Corey for a bit to no avail. The brewtronix website had an interesting message posted today: "With the recent release of the Raspberry Pi 4, we are currently closed until fall as we look to redesign our product line and spend some much needed...

SS Brewtech Brite tank coil wanted

Ok - this is very specific, but I thought it was worth a shot. I’m looking for a cooling coil for the 10 gallon Brite tank. Thanks!

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I’ve been following this thread since the beginning and finally pulled the trigger on the steam slayer. While I do not yet know the final outcome of the beer, I can highly recommend the product. Installation took 10 mins on my Spike kettle and it worked flawlessly from boil to the end. It’s...
