I got up at 2am to smoke a pork butt that my wife requested. Turned out pretty nice.

I "found" two buckets of base malt in the process of moving that are approximately 7-8 years old. It looked and smelled fine, I brewed a couple batches with it and everything has turned out great. If it looks, smells and tastes good I'd brew with it.

I haven't had one in years but I heard they stopped brewing with sugar. So they're probably making up the color lost from dark invert syrup and/or caramel coloring with black malt or something else roasty. My guess anyway....

My hands are kind of big and it's a real challenge for me to get them into the keg and attach the tubing onto those little dip tubes. Just looking for something easier to deal with.

I'm looking for corny lids with a ball lock post and 1/4" barb for attaching a floating dip tube. All I can find are these that include the floating dip tubes. I already have the dip tubes, just need lids. Does anyone carry just the lids? Thanks!

Thank you. I think this is a great beer for people that don't love IPA. It's very balanced and kind of "orangey". Sorry I'm not great at describing flavors lol.
