Exactly. Forget the shanks. $25 for the faucet alone is a good deal so even if you turn around and buy stainless shanks after the fact it's still a good price. The chrome will be fine for me for now. Maybe I'll upgrade to stainless one at a time over the next few months or something.

I went with a new chest freezer just because I didn't want to spend all the time building the collar, etc, etc only to have a used compressor konk out on me a couple months later. Hopefully, this thing will run strong (and effciently) for me for many years to come.
