I bottled in college, then I played around with someone else's kegging system. When I got back into it about a year ago I went straight to kegs and never looked back. It's good to bottle a few up now and then to transport, but kegs are so much easier.

Well that could help too, but I was referring to having other guys around so you could just blame it on them. Childish I know, but whatever works. Also, it is easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission.

another way to expedite the cooling is to put the kettle into a larger water area than most sinks, like a bathtub. The increased amount of water gets your temps down faster.

drink the bottles and mark it lesson learned.
