Rent a U-Haul and fill up the back with kegs....just a thought....or don't go for the full 8, just get part of your order....that way you take advantage of the good deal on kegs and don't completely piss of the traveling companions.....or if there are no travel companions, man up and load that...

If you had brewed this particular recipe several times before and were changing a single factor like yeast strain, it would be an interesting experiment. As it is, you're asking how much difference it will make when you have nothing to compare the difference against. I would not bother...

I don't use starters...ever...but to answer #5: Sanitize the Propagator package and then pour it in the bucket/carboy...it will work Dry yeast doesn't have to be rehydrated.....just cool the wort down to pitching temp and and pour the dry yeast on top....it will work on your fermentation...

the standard response here is: do hydrometer readings over several days and look for any changes to your readings....if you get the same hydro readings over a 3 or 4 day span your done

4 hours to pitching temp is not that bad, and 15 hours to start fermenting could be pretty quick depending on size of starter/use of starter/strain of yeast/ambient temperature/etc. don't worry about it. you still made beer
