3/8" vs 1/2" copper coil for chiller

I just picked up a 50' x 1/2" SS chiller from midwest, its got great reviews and says it's designed specifically for 10+ gallon batches... I'll follow up with the results after I try it... Everything I've read between the size differences is that the 1/2 is better... We shall see...

Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Clone Attempt

My first attempt at this clone I was around the same thing for the OG... I just let it sit a little longer than usual in primary to get as close to FG as possible. It still turned out to be delicious. I wouldn't expect anything different from yours Sent from my SCH-I500 using Home Brew mobile app

    Siebel Institute of Technology

My point is that the educational side of it its starting to take advantage of students just like any other profession has in this country. If the jobs we're plentiful that would be one thing, but they are too far and in between. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Home Brew mobile app

Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Clone Attempt

I have this on the gas as well and I always end up not being able to wait until its fully carbed... but yes, I enjoy the sampling process very much :) It does age well and IMO, it gets better the longer its on the gas/in the keg... I didn't even really notice too much loss in aroma or hop...

    SuperChiller from MoreBeer

No I haven't... had some decent success with my DIY wort chiller but I have been reading that some brewers cool their 10 gallon batches within 10 to 20 minutes using IC's... Hoping to hear some real life evidence that this may be possible with the WC above.
