German Pils Gavin's Glorious German Pilsner

Thanks for the kind words Thunder. I'm glad my recipe efforts haven't steered you into choppy seas I've made Pilsners with and without Melanoiden. In the latter instances I have used a decoction with the same objective in mind. I'm not sure how successful I was. I really think a bigger...

Your data is bad. You're inputting bad info in Bru'n Water. Check your water volumes and grist specs. You will not get the pH that low without some deliberate efforts at doing so. Make sure your water volume is correct ed for the large grain bill that will require more to mash it. Simplest...

    Indoor BIAB

No worries. Stir away. That thread is quite a chuckle. Plenty of solid specious reasoning going on. I do have an opinion on the matter but have not to date made any changes to my hot side approach that would be in line with a purist's LoDO approach. I've tried grain conditioning and...

    Beer recipe etiquette

You certainly do like your popcorn. That much is clear. Easy on the butter now. Greasy fingers can play havoc with one's con·de·scen·sion (made sure to seamlessly copy from wikilexia. No one will be any the wiser)

We don't. We have one of two opinions. We all either a/ view you and/or your website as a credible resource b/ view you and/or your website as a less than credible resource I have yet to encounter any credible resource for beer recipes online or elsewhere. Typically they are made up of...

Oh Vienna! 100% Vienna IPA I've not done a 100% Vienna lager yet. Vienna is a great malt. It brings a lot to the table.
