Hey, with a remote web server from a hosting company, especially if it is a "shared hosting" account, they will not give you root MySQL access which won't let our installer run. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

password can be reset via your admin login and then hitting forgotten password link then forgot password. As for the user, that will be in version 2 where you can reset the username. You could always log into phpmyadmin to change your user in the users table but BE CAREFUL

Make sure you are in the var/www directory by typing pwd and if you are and you need to change the perms on it type chmod 755 index.html this will set it to rwx r-x r-x and allow you to do what you want with it.
