Rockydog101 is right. That's the way to do it. You only need one pump.

Please let us know when and where we can find it. My efficiency has been pretty poor my past two brews, under 70%. I missed my target OG (1.046) by .006 (1.040) this weekend and was bummed it was the second time in 4 brews that I've been below. Trying to figure this out before next brew day.

The Therminator chills 10 gallons instantly depending on your groundwater temps. See my post above to BierHausPR. I highly recommend the Therminator, I've never chilled wort so quickly.:rockin:

I know the feeling. I'm in sunny SoFla and the water table gets pretty warm in the summer months. So this weekend I set up my immersion chiller in an 5 gallon bucket filled with ice water and connected it to the ground supply hose and ran that through the immersion chiller then out to the...

Highly recommend a hop spider when using the Therminator. I didn't use it during my first brew on the BE and regretted it tremendously. I spent three hours the second brew day flushing and back flushing with PBW and water before I even started mashing. Take my word for it HOP spider. The...

    Weston, FL Water Report, thoughts?

Thank you both very much for your very insightful (and immediate) posts. Yes, Weston, FL water is likely pulled directly from the aquifer near the Florida Everglades. I'm a stones throw from the everglades, literally, my neighborhood abuts US-27 which separates civilization from the glades...

    Weston, FL Water Report, thoughts?

I have been trying to take my brews to the next level and have been reading this thread and Water a Comprehensive Guide for Brewers by John Palmer and Colin Kaminsky (foreward by HBT's authority on the subject - A.J. deLange - got it right this time! :D). I obtained a report from Ward...

    A Brewing Water Chemistry Primer

I am sincerely thankful for HBT and contributors like you all. It has been an immense help to me. This is a priceless tool for us. I didn't realize this was the wrong place for my post. I apologize if it was poorly placed on HBT. My bad. I'll try to find the appropriate place for it and/or just...

    A Brewing Water Chemistry Primer

I stand corrected the authors of the Brewing Water guide I was referring to are Palmer and Kaminski. Jamil Z authors Yeast. Tough crowd. For the record I've read the book cover to cover and was just looking for some input from others on here now that I have a water report from Ward Labs not a...

Thank you for your quick reply. Any other places you suggest I can get some feedback on my water profile? Is there some other forum or webpage I can use to assist me in tweaking my water for better results.

Danam404 please let us know when that is up on great fermentations. I've been reading up on water profiles and just recently received my water report from Ward Laboratories. I also purchased a ph meter. My efficiency has been down and I need a boost.

Where exactly can that profile be found on BeerSmith 2? I assume it's in equipment profiles but I don't see a profile for the BE. I know I have the latst version of the software too because I checked for updates. I have searched it and can't find the BE profile. I had to manually enter it...
