    What's a 'Beer Snob'???

I'm a quiet beer snob. Meaning I know the difference between good beer and bad and go out of my way to avoid Bud. But I firmly believe in "to each, his own" and would never knock someones beer choice. If he/she is drinking a beer then I'll be their friend. Now, if someone starts talking trash...

    Bottling from Carboy or Bucket?

I always bottle from the bucket, its much, much easier and you wont stir up the sediment. Sure its one more thing to clean but the quality of your beer will be much higher

    wyeast to white labs conversion

So I plan on brewing the samuel smiths nut brown clone tomorrow. It calls for either wyeast 1187, or wyeast 1084. My HBS doesnt carry wyeast, they only have white labs so i picked up white labs british ale wlf-005 (or is it wlp-005? my label is smudged) and am wondering if it is a suitable...

    I wish I hadn't discovered homebrewing...

Since I'm closing in on basic training I decided to quit my job and spend pretty much all day everyday getting in shape physically and mentally. Then I found homebrewing and I spend most of the day thinking about what I want to brew, or how i could have done the last one differently. I even sped...

    Hockey, anyone?

Not a big hockey fan though I do follow the local Dayton Bombers. Im not sure what league they play in but the ECHL sorta sounds familier. I can't stand watching it on tv but going to a game in person is a whole lotta fun. Went with a couple buddies of mine to a bunch of Ohio State hockey games...
