Since they just started distributing here, I'm having Free State's oatmeal stout.

I enjoy them both. Been told that blending the two is amazing. O'Fallon 10 Day IIPA. Lots of sediment, but it tastes alright.

I love that glass. I love the Duchesse. So does SWMBO. Have a 750 in my cellar as well.

I was at a tasting last fall where we had 07-11 and a 13. They seemed to peak about 3-4 years. The 07 was good, but not as good as the 10 and 11. I'd drink it soon. Evil Twin Falcon IPA. It's OK, nothing special about it.

Stone 2013 Espresso Imperial Russian Stout. Still great coffee flavor. Had a Hebrew Funky Jewbelation before this.

Stone 2014 RIS. Local bar has the Espresso RIS on tap. Ill be going there tomorrow just for that.

Got home from work and had a Ruthless Rye. Now about a finger or two of Breckenridge bourbon.

I did them side by side last Sunday. Bcbs certainly is more bourbon heavy, whereas kbs seemed like a coffee bomb. Doesn't make one better than the other as they taste different. My opinion, at least. Then again, I had more hassle getting bcbs than I did getting kbs, even if I did get more of it.

I had 3 glasses (roughly 9oz pours) last night at $6 each. And a Deschutes Mirror Mirror at $7 for the same size.

Just finished a bottle of Deschutes Mirror Mirror (2014). Very good. Glad I've got more ready to age past its "best after" date.

The red I had last night tasted like cork, SWMBO agreed. It was definitely funky, but not in a good, wild yeast type way. I actually enjoyed the stout. It had some of the flavors I like in an imperial stout, but was more sessionable. My biggest complaint was the thin mouthfeel.

I bought 2 bottles at $5 each at the grocery store 3 blocks from home. Last 2 they had from their one case with a 2 bottle limit. The manager is a good guy and was up frontbwith me from the get-go. Broke up the 4pks to spread it out more. Other places in town did 4 packs at 20-25. One place...

Yeah, I need to read faster so I can start watching. Instead of watching GoT season 4, tomorrow ill be doing a KBS/BCBS side by side and watching Wrestlemania. Oh, and grilling burgers, brats, and some corn on the cob.

Ommegang's Game of Thrones #3. Fire and Blood red ale. Glad I didn't geek out over the release. This is not a good beer, IMHO. Ill choke it down cuz I bought it.
