    2bbl electric control panel

How big of a boil are you doing? I have a 60 gallon BK & MT but my HLT is only 20 gallons so I can't actually brew 2 barrels at once but We just did a 32 gallon boil this weekend with 2 - 5500 elements and had plenty of power to do more... I'm not sure if we had enough to do 60 gallons or not...

If you search you can probably find one of PJ's schematics that will be similar to what you are trying to do.

how do i operate this PID?

I believe you can set up the auto tune function using lower temp settings the pid just needs to figure out the amount of time it takes to ramp up temp. Try using your starting water temp 50ish and setting the pid to 80 and run the auto tune.

    HLT Stirrer Help

I use a 15.00 aquarium air bubbler attached to a long enough piece of stainless tubing to reach the bottom of my HLT to circulate it seems to work fine. My temp. increases are allot faster than with nothing in the HLT to keep the current moving around the coils.

    Questions about upgrading system

If you already have 2 kegs and a cooler and you plan on heating the HLT & BK with gas then I would recommend just going with the kegs you have they will hold enough for 10 gallon batches. Think I would save my money for a pump and build the sparg arm and attachments. Half the fun is building...

    Auber 2352 error code 04CJ

It worked fine when I powered up the system, it read the temp from RTD I adjusted the RTD setting a few degrees. When I brought the temp setting up for it to begin heating it started flashing this code, the top section of the display reads 04CJ the bottom reads 808. I don't see this error...

    Quarter Keg for brewing

Check out the closed system fermentation discussion. 1/4 barrel is probably a little small for brewing in but wouldn't be bad for fermenting 5-6 gallons in.

    Corny Keg Help!

Try cleaning under the O-rings on the lids and in the lip where the O-ring seals. Sometimes nastys hide there it only takes a little pice of grump to cause a leak. Pressure them back up and take a spray bottle with liquid soap and watter and spray all the conections and check again for leaks.

    Brewer's Hardware RIMS Build

This may be a little :off: but has anyone had a burned flavor. Is it best to start the element after you have recirculated for a few minutes to get the smaller particles that may have gone threw the false bottom back on top of the grain bed?
