    Not-So-Obnoxious Baseball Thread

Giants haven't allowed a run in 4 games, they are just amazing right now. Cain takes the hill tonight too, gonna be a good one. HUUMBABY! GO GIANTS!!

Now considering all suggestions on how to deal with a thieving, lying roommate

I'd cut him some slack, he's obviously going through a pretty rough time in his life. You try deploying to a place where everyone is trying to kill you for 15 months and see how emotionally stable you keep. Some people can handle stress better than others, and there might even be underlying...

Gas Sealant Question For Stainless Steel Pipe

+1 on this, Teflon alone doesn't lubricate very well. I'm a pipefitter and I use teftape and a product called "silver goop" on the threads and on top of the tape. This is pretty pricey stuff but I have never had a problem galling threads since I went to this method. But if it was me and I wanted...

Got a job interview at a brewery tomorrow.

Your just going to have to get used to that in any industry, youth usually means inexperience even if you are a master of your craft. There are some exceptions to the rule, but good old seat time is hard to argue. Im a welder by trade and fairly young for the craft and its very hard to get the...

    Brisket Marinade and/or Dry Rub

Search butchers BBQ brisket injection, it's a award winning injection. I use that and slap yo daddy's general purpose rub (but most will do fine). The important thing about cooking a brisket is to get the internal temp to 195-200 so the cologens break down and render the meat tender. You will...

Effects of a lb of wheat in an IPA?

Post how this turns out sounds interesting. I did a India wheat ale extract batch that I just kegged, I steeped some crystal 15L and used ale yeast (us05) and used 100% citra for bittering, and aroma and also dry hopped. I've only tasted it warm and flat out of the fermenter but it tastes...

    Are you fit or fat?

You nailed it. You can drink all the beer you want, as long as you live a lifestyle of excercise. Just like you said, it's pretty amazing what you can eat and drink if you excercise 5 times a week and don't eat fast food and the sort. And I'm not even talking about eating veggies and running 10...

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

Nice read! I'm sr20steve because I have owned 2 SE-R's and still have a loyalty to the SR20 to some sort (best motor made IMO), I also owned a fully built 04 Sti (built motor, tial 44, gt3071r, just about every single bolt on you can imagine) but it was nothing but trouble, I went through 3...

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

Thanks guys! This is me trying to make two identical frames, its much harder than you would expect. My abrasive saw leaves much to be desired as far as fit up, wish I had a decent bandsaw.

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

And fwiw, the morebeer tippy dump as it stands I can look into the mash tun its just a touch over 4' but still kinda awkward like you said, but mine will be 2" shorter Im hoping that this will help a bit and wont need a step stool to get to the mash tun.

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

I do plan on using the same burners that you have, the 200k btu banjo for the hot liquor, and the smaller 55k banjo burners for the mash tun and boil kettle.

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

Anything is possible;) thats the beauty of building something yourself. And if you don't like something (dimensions, need support, and extra fold out table, etc) you can make it happen. That is a sweet setup you have there, I never thought of the filter system, and while keeping with the...

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

For my setup, I plan on using 15 gallon kettles and using banjo burners and 304 SS socket weld gas piping (I already have a surplus of 304 1/2" stainless pipe and socket weld fittings) this build might be over the top, lol.

Building a morebeer tippy dump replica

Hey all, Im pretty new to the forums being Im a fairly new home brewer. But I have a buddy of mine who is a longtime all grain home brewer (and puts out some amazing brews IMO) that I would go to his house and help with his brew days. Seeing his setup on bayou burner stands, and cardboard boxes...
