Drank a glass of Russian River IPA, Sierra Nevada Celebration and an Oaked Arrogant Bastard at Stone Bistro. Luckily my wife is awesome and I got a Growler fill of the Oaked. They didn't have any of the rarer beers for Growler fills tonight.

Thanks so much for this thread. I did my first yeast starter Friday night for my Saturday brewing. I made a 1 liter starter using WLP005, and after I pitched it was rocking about 4 hours later. For some reason I thought it would be difficult or a pain in the ass but it was super easy. I can't...

I just cracked the Trader Joe's 2011 Holiday ale. Not bad.

I'm in the process of brewing a 60 minute clone. Wort is boiling and I've cracked a beer. Getting ready to start my first hop addition. This is also the first time I've done a yeast starter. This was so easy! I'm bummed I haven't done one before.

I'll be doing an AB clone tomorrow, bright and early.

I'd like to make clean up after racking as easy as possible.

A trip to SD would be incomplete without Stone. Seeing posts like this makes me so glad I live here.
