So I splayed out the in and out a bit and ran a test. Boiling to 70 in 12 minutes.

I just finished my chiller. I may make a few changes like splaying out the in and out ports. They're a bit of a knuckle buster at the moment.

Confirmed. I have the CF5.

Assembled it is 31.5 inches high at the highest point (blowoff barb) and 17.25 inches at the widest point (thermometer). Hope this helps.

My dad would have been 98 this year and he used to brew.

Look similar to what my Dad used to make beer. I still have some in bottles. He's been gone for few years now.

That's where I was heading. I would think that a SS brew Bucket or something similar would be a better option. However, you would need some way have a way to convert the airlock port to a gas post. Edit: What about a corny keg?

Is there a risk of doing a pressure transfer with a plastic container?
