Done and delicious! I can’t wait to try the next hop combo!

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

My latest batch is cold crashing and carbing but I couldn’t help myself. This bag of Idaho 7 I got from YVH is crazy strong. Super musty pineapple. I have 6 oz. of Lupomax Citra, 1 oz. of Citra Cryo, and 1.35 oz. of t90 Citra in the dry hop, while only having 3 oz. of Idaho 7 in there and it’s...

Looks great man! How is it taste/aroma wise? Do you find that the pineapple added or took away anything?

I have been wondering about this and have thought about getting the all rounder. I have the Fermzilla with the collection jar but man can that thing be a pain. With the yeast still in the fermenter, do you shake it up ever so often to rouse the dry hops? That’s the one thing that worries me...

I wanted to try cosmic punch but I didn’t have time for a starter. I first used Belma back in 2014 and definitely got that strawberry but don’t think I’m a fan. Good luck!

Anyone else brewing tonight? I have a NEIPA going with: 71.4% 2 Row 19.1% Spelt 2.4% Carapils and using CTZ lopomax for FWH And some Idaho 7 and Citra in the boil and then some Citra Lupomax, Idaho 7, and Citra T90 in the WP. Going with 6 oz Citra Lupomax, 1 oz Citra Cryo, 1.35 oz Citra T90...

I really enjoyed them. I used 2 oz in my last IPA and I got a lot of Idaho 7 type flavors from them.

I would love to try some other Fidens beers! If you ever want to trade just lmk!

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I was a bit nervous to try this one as the last two beers I had with Phantasm (from the Veil) were awful, but man was this a GREAT IPA. The saturation of diesely Nelson and fruit is unreal!

    Imperial Amber IPA

Why do you think it would clash? Plays pretty well to me! Have you had Modern Times Blazing World before? Solid Amber IPA with what seems like mostly Nelson. They unfortunately stopped producing it last year which is why I wanted to brew something similar. Next time I’ll use a west coast IPA...

I’m just going off of their website 👍🏻

    Imperial Amber IPA

Hey! Yeah, Weyermann Carafa III is de-husked and I’d actually lower the roasted barley and the Carafa a bit to be honest. It’s a little to roasty but not by much. I think the Comet hops would be a great addition, and yes, the Nugget were wet hops so 2 ounces of Comet would be good. I did a dank...

    Imperial Amber IPA

I guess I should add my dry hop additions. 1 oz. Simcoe 2 oz. Mosaic 1 oz. Mosaic Lupomax 2 oz. Nelson Sauvin

    Imperial Amber IPA

Turned out amazing! I can definitely pick up the notes from the fresh Nugget hops! Only thing I would change is more Nelson in the dry hop. I get the meson notes before anything else but wish there was more! The bitterness and crispness are almost perfect! Great color too, just needs to clear up...

    Well, now that I’m jealous!

The best IPA I have ever had is Bissell Brothers HTFGATT and they use 2-row, spelt, and oats. If you have never had it, I highly recommend trying to get some. I traded a guy a few years ago in a beer line at the Veil not knowing anything about the beer. Glad I did! I immediately went hunting and...

3 weeks after kegging and still super hazy, aromatic, and flavorful. I don’t think I have had haze last this long before. I guess this is what the cool kids call #permahaze

    Imperial Amber IPA

Super stoked on this one! I have been wanting to try brewing something similar to Modern Times Blazing World IPA and now that they have stopped brewing it I figured it was the time! I made some tweaks, especially since I wanted to use my homegrown Nugget hops in the whirlpool, so here is what...

    How’s this one coming along?

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Imperial A38, mashed at 146 for 40 minutes then stepped up to 160 for 15. I didn’t make a starter so I assume that’s why. That’s what I get for being lazy! I was hoping for around 1.015, I think I’ll try Verdant next time to keep with my lazy ways. Great NEIPA though, tastes like thick, creamy...
