Hey all, I brewed AHS Bavarian Hefe extract and it tasted great before bottling. I diluted 1/2 oz Star San into 2.5 gal water to clean my bottling bucket and equipment. I soaked my bottle caps in the solution pre-bottling, and afterwards they smelled like iron. I did not rinse, as directions...

I've read many threads on here about all the ones you listed. It seems that each site has it's own following on these forums, so I would just say go with the cheapest shipping or the closest location to you if you do not have a LHBS. (I prefer Austin myself, though I am slightly biased because...

Still being new I cannot say too much, however the "hop tea" idea sounds solid.

Could you just skip adding hops to the initial boil, and just add them to the "evaporation" kettle post fermentation?
