2 New and 2 Used Chugger Pumps - Inline Stainless Head

It appears that the two used pumps will fit in a medium flat rate box. So all in for two pumps would be $202.

Austin Homebrew Supply $30 Coupon Code / Gift Certificate for $25

I received two $30 coupon codes from a promotion on a recent purchase from Austin Homebrew Supply. These can be applied to any order with no minimums to qualify for discount - essentially a Gift Card, but they call it a coupon. I am looking to get $25 per coupon. The expiration date is...

    Brutus 10 - Atlanta

Thanks for the feedback guys. My wife continued to fiddle with the pumps to get them going again and we were able to salvage something. Who knows what will turn out, but it is in the fermenter now. Through this entire process I was so worried about the electronics and gas components of the...

What is wrong with my beer

Agreed. That's why I built the Brutus 10!

What is wrong with my beer

Honestly I am at a loss and extremely unmotivated. Considering selling everything.

What is wrong with my beer

As I can't put a word to the smell I ask her repeatedly until she gives me something so I can pass it along to you all. So soapy may only have come about by me demanding an adjective.

What is wrong with my beer

I ferment in an upright freezer controlled at between 65 and 70. Yeast has been wyeast 1056. A variety of hops have been used and sources from my local shop (Brewnasters Warehouse) and other online vendors.

What is wrong with my beer

I have sent a sample out to my designated smeller (my wife). Her ability to apply words to this smells is considerably more advanced than mine. Her current word is "soapy". Let me say that it smells the same as prior batches that were described to be "musty or stale". So my friends, let...

What is wrong with my beer

    So oxidation isn't my issue?

What is wrong with my beer

I should clarify, I reattch the lid after taking the gravity reading. Could the oxygen that is able to get into the bucket at that time put me in this position?

What is wrong with my beer

The only things that causes me to pause on the water is the fact that this taste did not appear on my first two batches and I am on large municipal water source outside Atlanta (Cobb County) and have not come across any concerns from other brewers. What I think is the most interesting is...

What is wrong with my beer

I am back after taking a few months off and building this (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/idiot-builds-brutus-10-least-tries-323629/). Brewed up my first AG batch, a pale ale, and while I did not hit my target OG the beer did manage to ferment down to 1.010 for a respectable 4% alcohol...

    Sparge Assembly

If I choose your option or another, would a sparge assembly be able to pump my mash fast enough during the recirc, or would I need to consider another method?

    Sparge Assembly

I posed the following questing on my build thread in the DIY forum. I have not gotten any responses there so I am giving it a shot here in the Equipment forum where it may be better suited.

An Idiot Builds a Brutus 10... or at least tries

In my initial brew I used at rotating sparge arm I picked up from Midwest. It is the model seen here (http://www.midwestsupplies.com/10-gallon-polarware-kettle-sparge-arm-add-on.html). I cannot say that I really liked how I had to balance it on top of my keggle. In looking for an option...
