My thought process on my math was at 70%, that leaves 30% free space. That leaves 30/70= 43% expansion room for the 70% to take up 100% of the tank. But you are right, that isn't 50%.

They do a flat fee to fill the tank, not charging by the lb so they aren't breaking the law I guess.

For those that pay a fixed price for a full, have you ever weighed your "full" tank? My place fills my 10lb tank to 7-8lbs. When I called them out, they claim it's for temperature expansion. But 7lb, that's almost 50% room for expansion. Maybe that's reasonable, but logically seems excessive.

If I recall, 1 dram is 3.7ml. So if you have an eye dropper, that would be 0.75 ml per gallon. You can always add more, you can't take away.

Only one I used that I was happy with was watermelon. 1 full dram for 5 gallons.

Same ball park but slightly off topic. I know the SS brew tech glycol chiller can handle 4 items at once. But does anyone know if they can be set at different temps or does the temp have to be the same for all? Thanks.
