    First Pump Recommendation

So, as far as pumps go, I'm a HUGE fan of buy once cry once for the Blichmann Riptide... If you're okay dropping the full $200 on it. I know that it's a lot for something that's not absolutely integral for everyone's process, but I'll list a few reasons why as soon as I got the pump and used it...

What BIAB brewing actually is (Mythbusting for traditionalists)

+1 for someone who brewed on 3 vessel herms for a few years then switched to biab, and modeled my design after Bobby's youtube video from this past year about his 2020 brew system. Just one step of many I've taken to streamline and make my brewdays (and brewing) easier and less work.

California 1 tier brewing setup with everything you need for 10gal all grain batches

Hey my man, awesome looking system. If you end up parting out, I might would consider one of the keg fermenters you've got. No pressure as I know the feeling of wanting to sell it all together. Good luck, Nick

Easy to use, turnkey, compact, semi-automated 10 gallon batch electric all grain brewing system?

Heyo. So your list of requirements is going to be a little difficult to fulfil everything. It kind of reminds me of a 'pick two' venn diagram. What I mean by that... If you want something turnkey and easy to use - It might not be upgradeable in the future. See: something like the Anvil Foundry...

New (?) 6 gal size torpedo kegs

Oh, I really like this. I will be getting one on my next morebeer order, since I'm a big ferment and serve from the same keg kinda guy.

    Stickers

I have a ton of the logo in my profile picture, in small coin sized. Probably a little bigger than a quarter. Want some? Shoot me your address in a PM and I'll mail out. It's not a commercial brewery or anything, but let me know :)

German Pils Bo Berry Pils (West Coast Pilsner)

A few tasting notes: Light, grainy/pilsneryish (like that made up word?) Some residual sweetness, a little too much in my opinion as noted... Want to dry it out a little more and hopefully 'crisp' it up a little. Clean lagerish character, no diacetyl (maybe just a tiny hint in the foam, but...

German Pils Bo Berry Pils (West Coast Pilsner)

Here's my latest go, using some 2020 Nelson. Notes at the end about what I'd like to change for next time. Brew Method: BIAB Style Name: Pilsner Boil Time: 60 min Batch Size: 10 gallons (fermentor volume) Boil Size: 11.5 gallons Boil Gravity: 1.045 Efficiency: 70% (brew house) STATS: Original...

Other Half Daydream (oat cream IPAs) - all grain clone attempts

I'm not really great at adding specific descriptors for flavors and aromas. In fact, I laugh at all the beer releases that have your typical "stone fruit, lychee, passion-ass, etc etc" combo of flavors and stuff. But you do get a whole heap load of white whine that in fact, for those who may...

Other Half Daydream (oat cream IPAs) - all grain clone attempts

You having some Deja Vu? I'm planning on rebrewing again with Riwaka hops. Making the 2020 New Zealand single hop series.

Its an okay meter as far as I'm aware. Thermoworks 8689. At 68 degrees, pour through a strainer a few times... 4.39 ph.

Other Half Daydream (oat cream IPAs) - all grain clone attempts

I'll take a measurement tonight. I'm really not well versed in what the pH means from phase to phase of the brew process, so I've honestly never measured it outside of kettle souring and during the mash. My limited knowledge is that it's just a number and it should be somewhere during the mash...

Other Half Daydream (oat cream IPAs) - all grain clone attempts

Follow up to my last post - Here's the cold crashed sample and final product. Turned out incredible. Most in your face aroma I've gotten, could be attributed to a few things... Fermenting and Serving in same keg, fresh 2020 hops, I dunno what else but it's fantastic. I know Nelson by itself...

    Coconut Porter w/ Sabro

Not to take the focus away from stouts... But I had a piece of banana bread with coconut on it today. Would a heff with a little sabro addition be any good? I've had good luck with Sabro used heavily in IPAs and this thread got me thinking. Just thinking out loud here.

BrewCommander - Impressive offering from John

Right on. I have an old 10 gallon false bottom that fits just inside the 20 gallon boilcoil that should do the trick without needs to get something which I will give a go next batch. Thank you!

BrewCommander - Impressive offering from John

Regarding the temp probe location discussion from the past page or two... I have the a boilcoil in my kettle, so installing the probe fitting down low would be awfully close to the element no matter where I rotate the location. Would that be a big deal?
