You can usually get growlers from your local watering hole for $5. Stick an airlock on that bad boy and let it roll! That's my plan, just collecting the glass now :rockin: 64 ounces and easily replaceable, replicable. Oh, and no shipping charges.

@bbohanon, That was definitely the worst part! For how it tasted, though, I'll gladly go through unwrapping each one. Although, I will admit....I bought more than I needed and got my son to "help" unwrap. Just made sure I had my 52 oz and he got the rest! I'm honored to have you brew my recipe!

Just to update, the 12v pump kicked @ss on the 4.5 head transfer to the fermenter. No difference in flow rate at all. I'm consistently impressed with these little pumps.

Very true, @RichBenn. I sparge at 3ft head. I'll be testing out my new fermenter tomorrow. Transferring to that will be 4.5ft head. These little pumps are rated for 2.4 gallons @ 3ft head. I'll find out tomorrow if the extra distance has an appreciable negative impact.

An old desktop computer power supply has a 12v output. You may also find a 12v laptop power adapter.
