How many blades in your razor?

Been using a DE Merkur for about a year now and will never go back. I get a closer shave and my face doesn't get dried out like it used to.

    Finally moving to all grain!

Just finished cutting the top off of my keg. Not all that pretty, but it will work. I'm planning on getting my fittings by the end of this month and hopefully doing my first all grain batch by October.

    Sunday IPA

I really enjoyed this beer, I finished the keg about a month ago. It didn't have the citrusy pop that I get from ranger, but pretty sure that was from my hop substitution. I will definitely try again when Amarillo is back in season. Also I should be moving to all grain next month so I'm...

    Temp control setup for $35

That's awesome, I used a Johnson temp controller for my keezer build, because didn't really want the hassle of building my own. Definitely going to get one of these for a fermentation chamber.

    Sunday IPA

Just pitched my yeast. Smells amazing, OG was at 1.05 which I think will hopefully make it about a 4.5 to 5 ABV like yours. This was the first batch I used a wort chiller on. Just finished making my copper wort chiller and recycled water with a pond pump I had. This was the first time I...

    Sunday IPA

Brewin it now, just started the boil. Man Texas summer nights are noisy. Can barely hear myself think with all these criquets. Guess I'll just need another home brew to relax.

Hop bag from the boil accidentally put in the primary

Shouldn't IMHO, but I'm still new to brewing. If you had it in there during the boil it should be sanitized. The only problem is when you rack into your keg our bottles you will have to be extra careful to avoid the hop debri.

    Basic Keezer Build

First drink from my Keezer is delicious! This was a great investment!:tank: Now I just need to make sure I keep going to the gym. Couple things I wanted to note. I realize now why people put the vents in. I was just thinking the freezer was going to have to keep 40 deg temps, completely...

    American IPA Haphazard IPA

Just had a bottle brewed with rustybrew 2 Weeks out of conditioning and it's tasting pretty good. Has a lot of aroma and flavor withought too strong of a bitter bite :mug:.

    Sunday IPA

Just got back from the LHBS with my ingredients to brew this batch. I love New Belgiums Ranger and I'm excited to see how this turns out. I've been doing partial mashes with BIAB to slowly step my way in to all grains, so I altered your recipe slightly. Fermentables 4# Marris Otter 1#...

    Wort chiller

Looks nice. I need to make one. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the copper from, and how much did you spend?

    Basic Keezer Build

Just moved the keezer inside. All I need to do now is grout the tile and get a CO2 tank. Pretty excited!

    Basic Keezer Build

    Basic Keezer Build

Just finished my first coat of stain. The lighting isn't to good in my garage for the picture, looks better in person. I also put the faucets on just to see what they would look like. I'm attaching the before and after pictures. I'm really happy with how it's turning out. Also just...

    Basic Keezer Build

Just picked up for faucets and shanks. All I need now is the CO2 tank and four corny kegs. Planning on brewing three batches of beer tomorrow in preparation for the keezer! I'm curious to see how that's going to go.

    Basic Keezer Build

Ok, I know it's been a while, but I have made some progress. I decided to go with the passive cooling method by using copper pipes, we'll see how it works out. As far as work goes, I'm down to just staining the wood and lay the tile. I still need to purchase the corny kegs, CO2 Tank, and...

    Basic Keezer Build

Thanks for the input. Yes I'm planning on doing a coffin and will most likely have questions. I want to try and do passive cooling in the coffin using copper tubing. There was a thread for using copper to keep your lines cool in a tower and don't think it would be much different in a coffin...
