    When I make a 5 gal kit I'll sometimes stretch it to 7 gallons, add a tad more hops and it comes out good. I've made a arogant bastard clone to 13 gallons and all came out good!

    I just bottled an Irish red and after 4 days I'm talking "carbonated". Beer had nice carb and head. I was surprised myself as it usually takes about 2 weeks to get any kind of carb going. I did use pure cane sugar for priming, not sure if that had anything to do with it. Oh yeah and the beer...

    the best I've found so far is williamsbrewing.com, they got 32 lbs of lme 4X(8lb) bags for $49.99. I don't think anyone has better prices than that.
