The Mosin cartridge really packs a nice punch! I thought it would go through 1/2" steel at around 100 yards, nice to see it though!

Thanks for the comments guys! The scope is a nightforce 5.5-22 power with a 56mm lens. It does a good job! When I had the target setup out there I couldn't even see it with my bare eyes.

Hey HBT! Just made a short video of me shooting the Savage 110 BA 338 Lapua at a distance of 1760 yards- 1mile. Hope you enjoy the video!

What I did was pull the .22 bullet with pliers from the casing and just used the projectile only. I filled the cannon with some black powder, not the powder from the .22 cartridge. Then I just put in some wadding (tissue paper) and loaded the .22 projectile and booms away!

I've shot some mil surplus, I think it was Bulgarian steel core surplus. If you check my video webpage I shot a surplus Bulgarian round at a 1" thick steel block from 100 yards, just to show the damage. I'd love to get my hands on some of that sniper 7n6 stuff your talking about! Thanks for...
