    It's been 10 days...

Checked my gravity again and I was still at 1.028. I repitched it and bumped the temp up to 72 and it was working away when I checked today.

I will be checking in on my beer today. I made a starter two days ago and it's been on my stir plate since. I'm going to pitch again today unless my FG has been hit when I check it.

Well Crap, looks like I under pitched... So is there any issue with pitching again now? I haven't had to re-pitch before.

And I still have not hit my FG. Starting was 1.060 and I just checked it and its only at 1.028 and i'm trying to get to 1.012. It took at least 4 days for the yeast to start fermenting. I did a 10 gallon batch of Dale's Pale Ale and its fermenting at 66F in a half barrel speidel in a...

I'll start using a bigger tub that what I've been using to put my bag in and maybe that will help. I have a sink right next to where I brew so that helps. Finally got a hook installed to use the winch so that helps. Thanks for the input.

    Brew Boss Systems

I brewed a clone batch of Dales Pales Ale I found here and everything went well as usual. However, I brew inside in a shop area and I'd like to know how everyone keeps water from going everywhere. Mostly when pulling the hops bag out it seems to always have water flowing down the outside of...

Same here. I heat my full water amount to sparge temp and then pull a gallon or two off into an insulated igloo 5 gallon water jug and put the cap on. It keeps the water at exactly the same temp until an hour later when I need it. I then pour it over the bag I use and then ready for the boil.

    Kegerator

Agreed. I built mine out of an old fridge/freezer and I was just putting the co2 tank in the fridge at first but I can't fit two kegs and the 20lbs co2 tank in there the way I have it set up. So even though I only have one tap on the front of the door I'd like to keep two or three kegs in the...

    Brew Boss Systems

Found the issue. The heating element popped and there is a hole in it. I've only been through 4 boils. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Brew Boss Systems

I'm having a bunch of issues with it crashing. Last night I brewed and got through everything and went to clean up and circ some hot PPW through the system. For the life of me I could not get the heating element to turn on. I power cycled the tablet, unplugged everything, dropped wifi and...

    Brew Boss Systems

No, I'm not desperate to have exactly 10 gallons. Just a bit new to this system and have done mostly 5 gallon batches up to now. My FIL and I are brewing on it and wanting to get the most out of the system so that we each get a keg from each brew session. I think I will simply go with a...

Ok, that is what we have done on the last 2 ten gallon batches. Just wasn't sure if this was what everyone seemed to be doing or not.
