Tis’ the Christmas season.

Decided not to get the beer advent calendar this year - the beers all started tasting the same last year. So a couple different advents this year - with an HB IPA.

Yes, she’s got a cannon of an arm. She and my daughter played against each other all HS. They were equivalent (size/ability) after FR year then when we saw her during travel season she grew about 4 more inches. They were no longer equivalent.

Only a Scott Frost coached team could lose that game. New QB and on your own 7 - you don’t call a double move pass play which leads to the safety. Oh well, the VB team is just getting started - the real deal team in Nebraska.

The OG Ale and another OG from Nebraska - Mac and cheese and corn. I was a critic before trying but no longer.

Lagunitas IPA and Pecan Pie from the Village Inn - best pies in America (according to them, and confirmed by me).

Tonight is our 28th anniversary. Had reservations at a new fancy farm-to-table place, but decided to get some take-out. Already had ordered the world’s greatest dessert - burnt almond torte - shipped from Prantl’s bakery in Pittsburgh. Oh, and some Lagunitas.

Curious as to how fresh the Liberty is. I can only find it at Whole Foods in the area. Still my favorite IPA.

Finally got some Liberty Ale to compare my clone. Liberty quite a bit darker but tastes quite similar. Was under the impression Liberty was just 2-row and cascade - which is what the flavor is but color different.

Time to start the Thanksgiving weekend. HB Amber Ale - first time brewing an Amber in a few years. Not sure why I don’t brew it more.

This is Frost in a nutshell. 1st and 20 from the 21 with 3 TOs and they take 3 shots at the end zone. You have TE’s that are 6’9” and 6’7” and you don’t go over the middle and call a TO? Yes there may have been a PI at the end so Frost will bitch about that all week, but just terrible play...

Hanging tough, but that has been their MO for a while.
