Back At It WCIPA at Half Door Brewing.

I’ve only had Pliny at the Monk’s Kettle in San Fran. So nice to see it somewhere else. Really fantastic, obvious, I know.

And now the Holy Grail. Pliny the Elder at The Local in SD.

Devotion Dry Hopped Blonde Ale at Lost Abbey, San Diego. This brewery is really cool. In a 1906 Mexican church.

Same beer, only DDH with Simcoe and Mosaic. Love being on the West Coast and getting a WCIPA.

If This Be Treason Hazy IPA with Mosaic and Citra. Vis Major Brewing - their building was literally knocked off its foundation from flooding last March. Couldn’t brew for 8 months - had guest taps and now are back brewing. Glad they survived.

How many have you had? I’ve only had 2 cans.

Overall, TG is very expensive. Their dry hopped Pseudo Sue is $20 for a 4-pack. They put out really great stuff, and clearly are selling.

HB Liberty Ale clone with Voss.

Was excited to see Pseudo Sue in 12 oz/12 pack - normally only 16 oz/4 packs. But at $24.99, they are pushing the limit.

That has become my go to summer yeast. I’ve always had a hard time cooling to 65-ish without wasting a ton of water. This works great and it starts within an hour and no off-flavors.

The last one was a one-and-done at 9.4%. HB IPA.
