Were they by any chance recycled fat tire bottles. I had 2 out of 6 break in my last batch and someone in another thread had several break recently as well.
I was thinking of making a bottle hanger type lable with serving suggestions listed on it, sweeten with splenda, sprite, warm with cinnamon, etc . I was thinking of carbing though to make more like a sparkling cider.

Type L is a thicker wall guage but the refrigeration tubing would probably be easier to form. 20ft is probably not be enough length. The 1/2 inch diameter would give more surface area and flow to cool quicker.
