the pepper came through great, blended well with the smoked malt, warm but not hot. I put it in the primary and my plan was to add more to the secondary, but it didn't need it.

mine with a cold plate instead of coils... 2 bags of ice lasted from 4pm to 9am in 90 degree temps

I do a smoked habenero amber ale with just 1 small pepper in the primary, and a jalapeno rye... both never last very long
