    Andechs Hefeweizen is the best beer I have ever had, and if I could only have 1 beer for the rest of my life it would be this one.

    Spaten Oktoberfest

    Definately get it. The only Oktoberfests that are superior, IMHO, are Ayinger and Augustiner (I've never seen this one in the US). Sam Adam's Oktoberfest is to hoppy (bitter) and unbalanced for my taste.

    Beer and Health

    Give this man/woman an award. I have been telling my friends/family this for years. Drinking some good all-natural beer is way healthier than 99% of the processed garbage people eat on a regular basis. The key to staying healthy is eating a proper diet and exercising.

    Fruit Flies + Airlock = bad?

    The way i get rid of them is to peel an apple, cut it in half and place it in a bowl. Then pour wine over it until it is half way covered with wine. Cover the bowl tightly with 2 layers of saran rap and poke holes in it with a fork. The flies will all be trapped inside in no-time.

    I thought that Kristalweissbier (comercial versions) had no yeast in suspension.
