Palm City Brewing Co Hazify IPA at Rustys Raw Bar and Grill in Fort Myers, FLA. A hazy NEIPA. Hits the spot. Of course had to throw in a side of Oysters.
At the Montreal Airport (YUL) Fairfield Inn having a local LeCaster Brewing Company IPA. Hopped with Yakima Hops several times during process including a dry hop. Decent IPA not too hoppy though.
Cooking bacon on a pellet grill is also outstanding. Stuff a date with an almond sliver and blue cheese, wrap with bacon and tooth pick to hold closed, cooked at 225 on the pellet pit also a great app. So many thing to do with pellet cookers besides the normal ribs, pork butt, brisket etc.
I like the reverse sear method. Seems to get more smoke flavor when I have the steak on the smoker first, get the IT to 125 then hit the sear. Comes out with a perfect medium rare edge to edge.
I also heat up with lid closed.
PelletFan.com Is a great site with all things pellet grills.
Great day at the Readington Brewery and Hop Farm. Today was hop harvest day. They had a food truck on site on the farm part of the property. They gave everyone buckets (probably three gallon buckets) and some vines. If you picked enough hops to fill the bucket you get a 10oz beer of choice...
A little late. This was last night at a BBQ place in St Louis MO. Schalfly Pale Ale from the St Louis Brewery. English style so a little more malt than I like, but not too bad.
Down at the in laws in FLA. love Cigar City Jai Lai and saw this one from Cigar City. Fancy Papers Hazy IPA. Brewed with Strata and Idaho 7 hops. Hit the spot as an app before dinner. Haha.
Mrs and I at our usual Friday afternoon stop T the Readington Brewery and Hop Farm for a pint or two.
Today is a pint of the 2X Bomber which is a double dry hopped IPA with Amarillo/citra/Columbus/mosaic hops. It is a take off their original Hop Bomber IPA.
Anyone in the area August 27 they...
Just had a cask condition hand pulled ale tonight. If was good. Not as good as some I have had in the UK in the past, but a great treat. Don’t see it very often.
At Concave Brewing in Flemington, NJ. Trail Mix (Pale Ale) on the left and Gravitational Wave (IPA) on the right. The Trail Mix is hand drawn from the cask.
My HB NB partial extract Sierra Madre Pale Ale. Kegged on Monday, tapped today. Love the look and taste. One more extract kits then I think I want to try AG. Already have the cold side, gotta look at hot side budget when it comes to AG.
Excuse the beer choices they were limited, but it is hot and these hot the spot. Mrs and I watching the band Kansas at the NJ Festival of Ballooning. For a 50 year old band, they were great and a great show.
