    Fruit Beer Wild Strawberry Blonde

You won't have to add yeast. There is still plenty of yeast left in suspension to eat those sugars up. But it will not greatly affect your abv. What were your og and fg?

    Water amounts in HOPVILLE?

I usually design my recipes on hopville as 6 gallon batches to account for kettle loss and trub. I end up with a little over 5. I use brew365 website to determine mash and sparge amounts. I used to design my recipes for 5 gallons and I would end up with less then 4.5 in the fermenter or be...

    1st fermentation

Most people here give primary at least 3 weeks. There is really no need for secondary unless its a high gravity beer that needs bulk aging, or you plan on aging on oak.

How good/bad do you think this crush is??

When do you start counting 60 min boil time?

I start the count after the hot break ( when the foam that forms on top at the begining of the boil drops and fear of a boil over goes away) and right after the first hop addition. The boil time us really based on hop additions anyway and you want a good rolling boil for them anyway

    Countertop Brutus 20

What if I use the setup as is but put an additional heat stick in to bring to a boil after recirculation? Will one stick get 8 gallons of water to 170 degrees?

    Countertop Brutus 20

I'm sorry if this has been asked but I couldnt read through the whole thread, if I wanted to bring this up to 5 gallon batches and use a 4500 watt 240 volt would the parts for the controller box be the same except I would need a 240 volt plug? I cant believe I may tackle this, i have never...
