[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Thanks for the heads-up. I've updated Step 6 to prevent this from recurring.

Ohhh. Delete index.html. Usually an index.htm is presented before index.html is presented before index.php.

Sounds like you installed the files to somewhere other than /var/www. Run this command: ls -la /var/www What is the output?

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

It's theoretically possible, yes, but you'd be a bit on your own getting Debian installed on it. Once you got Debian installed, our instructions would be pretty close to the same for you as they would be on a Pi.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

The time has finally come to release RaspberryPints unto the world. We hope you enjoy what we've put together for you. We've had an amazing time writing this project and a community has formed around its development. May your pints always be full!

If you're able to access within your local network, there's nothing wrong with the Pi.

    Kegerator Solenoid Locks

Please do let us know how it goes. Our RaspberryPints digital taplist software launches tomorrow. I'm hoping to incorporate solenoids in a future release, but haven't been able to identify a model that doesn't impart off-tastes or create foaming issues.

Heads-up: Dell Outlet is having a refurbed monitor sale again. Perlick 525SS compared to new 630SS

Never had any of my 10 leak. Must have gotten lucky. Definitely not enough changes for me to swap them all out. Great post. Thanks!

Keg line lengths? There are diff opinions.

Too much gas line is a pain to manage. Too short and you might not be able to open your lid, if you have dual hinge collar and a mounted primary/secondary.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I'm not a huge fan of no-name WiFi adapters. Some RealTek chipsets have a way of ****ting the bed. If you're looking for a dirt cheap NIC, check eBay. That model is allll over it for $3-5. However, my experience is that the no-name ones without a chipset listed drop connection a lot when they...

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I'm not super familiar with hotspots. Can they be used for an offline network also? I don't know. Never had the need to use one. When I'm in situations like you describe, I set my Android phone to run as a hotspot, which probably isn't quite the same as a dedicated one. But yes*, the admin...

Perlick to stop selling 525 in 2014?

    ...I still see the ledge?

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Initially, by weight. OG/FG/SRM/IBU are already required, so if you enter the weight of a full keg (and already have the weight of the empty keg in your My Kegs list), then calculating the volume is trivial.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Hey, thanks! Our test hardware should be arriving within the next week, and we hope to get our hands on some code to play with. I'm particularly interested in seeing what happens with the pulse count when a keg "kicks" gas and foam.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

The short answer is no, it's fine. You don't *need* a static IP. The long answer is that there's 3 ways to set one. 1- Set Static DHCP on the router (this option is out for you, you said) 2- Set static IP on the Pi itself (we have a guide for this in the install instructions as a backup...

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Does not seem to be an IPS panel... expect terrible viewing angles. Also doesn't seem to have a USB hub.
