    Installing Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra 3/16

I have successfully pushed a picnap tap onto BevSeal. I have one as my backup tap to my backup line to my backup faucet. Just gotta get it hot and pliable first. May take several tries. Good luck!

    Installing Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra 3/16

We're using faucets attached to beer shanks. The 5/16 X 5/8 BSPP PI451015FS screws directly onto a beer shank. Faucets do not have barbs. You seem to be describing a picnic (cobra) tap. Picnic tap's don't make any sense with rigid lines. The line costs more than the tap itself. Same...

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

The particular sans serif font we used on the site kerns two en dashes into an em dash. :\

Kiosk mode would be (in LXDE/autostart): @chromium --kiosk localhost You're right. There's something going on here. I looked up "--start-maximized" in the official docs, but it doesn't seem to be functional as of the most recent version. Will follow up and correct in the morning.

    Magnetic 525SS

I doubt they advertise what alloys they use. You'd have to ask them that question...

    Trader Joe's Juice Experiments

I wouldn't serve the pear cinnamon to my worst enemy. Pasteurization denatures micro-organisms that exist in the liquid at the time it is performed. It does nothing to prevent new micro-organisms from being introduced and flourishing.

    Magnetic 525SS

Ferritic and martensitic stainless steels are magnetic. Austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic.

[Initial Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Public Service Announcement I've updated the installation instructions on Step 5: Package Configuration to start Chromium in Fullscreen Mode instead of Kiosk Mode. There's not a huge difference, but this simple change should re-enable the fullscreen toggle key (F11) for those having issues.

It did not. That system sent us emails directly. You can imagine we got inundated very quickly. :(

    Buying beer

Nothing wrong with buying beer. But with 40 gallons of fermenter space, 24 kegs, a 10-tap keezer, and 500 lbs of grain on-hand... ...I often find myself in front of the craft brew section going "Jeeze, $7 a bottle?! I could probably make 10 gallons of that for $25. For less than the price of 4...

    The slippery slope of homebrewing...

Btw, I've been on a Keggle for the last 18 months or so with a 70 qt tun. I've certainly gotten my money out of them. Next step will be a minimum 1 bbl electric setup. I won't have the power or room until I buy a large house, so that could be quite a few years.

    The slippery slope of homebrewing...

I did less than 5 extract batches. I skipped partial mash and jumped right into all-grain. The first few all-grain batches were very drinkable, but not very good reproductions of the recipe I had intended. Of the last 500 gallons or so, I've only had two bad batches. Neither were bad enough to...

Oh Please Say It Aint SO!

Only one section looks alarming to me. If it's infected, pumping the top off won't help. Give it a while. Lets see if it grows. It may very well just be yeast coming out of suspension and rising to the top.

Not planned right now, but it's certainly something we'd love to gauge interest on. Please submit a feature request using the link in Post #2.

    "Marzen" beer: AKA "Oktoberfest"?

Spent close to five years in your neck of the woods. Still drop in on ******* several times each year to visit family. I know last time I was at Jack Russel their taplist had a scotch ale, a blueberry saison, a farmhouse ale, a seasonal fruit/vegetable beer (seems to switch between apple and...

    "Marzen" beer: AKA "Oktoberfest"?

Oh hush. You have the Jack Russel Brewing Company even closer, and the mediocre Placerville Brewing Company in town. I know there are also breweries in Roseville, Lincoln, and Auburn... and I suspect in Jackson as well. Im stuck with Sutter Butted and not much else.

That's one way to do it. Personally, I just wget the archive then run unzip on it, and finally move the files to /var/www. But your way works too.

To answer the question directly... No, we haven't moderated or deleted any of the ideas AFAIK. There's also no queue that they go through to be approved before they display on the website. I figure we can let the community sort the wheat from the chaff. We'll have to combine duplicates...
