    So who's brewing this weekend?

Just finished up my chocolate stout. Still coming in low on my efficiency even with discovering my thermometer was out of calibration, making the adjustments for efficiency in my beersmith, and still hit every temp all the way through the brew day. Anyway, still got what I wanted out of the day...

    Bourbon + coffee stout..........

Makers Mark is pretty popular. It's got really nice vanilla notes that always pair well with a stout.

    You still buy Beer

I brew about once a week, but I some how find myself in the beer store twice a week. Mostly because I'm good friends with the employees and brewers, and they always seem have something hidden away in the back for me to take home. That and I have to keep up with everyone in my tasting group.

    Favorite Hefe

Live Oak, hands down has the best hefe I've ever had,its close to perfect. Its one of the greatest things about living in Austin, I can have it anytime I want. Its also one of the hardest things about homebrewing here though, its always there to be compared to mine and I just cant compete.

Brewing the beer for a Company BBQ, what should I brew?

Im going to brew the Pale Ale on Monday on my day off. Then, Tuesday I'll do either the hoppy amber or a Honey Saison (this one: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f71/cottage-house-saison-254684/) both look great, and I think they will go over well. Brewing the beer for a Company BBQ, what should I brew?

I plan on doing the 1-2-3 meathod which is exactly 6 weeks. If I need more clarity I'll try gelatin fining. I've never done it before, but if it comes down to it I'll try it.
