I have a question regarding this. When racking the beer to the bottling bucket should you try to pick up some sediment? I bottled beer yesterday and it is unbelievably clear, very little sediment in the bottles. Thanks.
I am brewing an Imperial Stout Extract Kit right now as well. It is a 5 gal recipe.
For priming sugar the kit calls for:
2/3 cup corn sugar in 16oz water.
or
5/8 table sure in 16 oz water.
Bring the solution to a boil and pour into the bottling bucket.
I always use corn sugar.
