    Kettle Help for eBIAB build

Everyone I've heard pretty throughly encouraged me to get a 15gal instead of 10. Not sure i'll ever do many 10 gal batches, but my usual batch is 6 gal (5 in the keg, plus a handful of bombers), so that makes a pretty full 10 gal pot if doing BIAB

Washington Brau supply high flow camlocks, NEMA 20a receptacle

Camlock set, got lazy about sending these back since they didn't match my setup. You can buy more directly from Brau supply(https://brausupply.com/collections/clearance-accessories) 6x female camlocks with high flow 0.75" hose barb usually $5 each 1x male camlock with 1/2 NPT female thread...

    Kettle Help for eBIAB build

lots of questions, many have been addressed in several different ways depending on whose build thread you read these are just my takes: 1) i like to peek at what's happening, so i put my recirc port on the side. this makes fitting a basket down the road more difficult if you choose to do brew in...

Spike 240v eBIAB build on an oldschool AV cart

I took it through a trial with hot soapy water, everything is pretty good, but the 30' of counterflow chiller provides too much resistance to be inline with the whirlpool port and generate enough flow to whirlpool, so I think I'm adding to the pump outflow to help switch back without too much...

various fittings and valves needed- NPT ,camlock, ball valves, etc.

if you want larger flow, I have 6 female camlocks w highflow barbs and 1 male w 1/2 npt fitting. These are bigger cams than the brewhardware stuff. got them from brau supply, was too lazy to send them back to canada when they didn't fit my other camlocks. If you got the rest of your camlocks...

chugger pump head, trade inline head +$ for center inlet?

as above, anyone with a center inlet stainless head interested in an inline head? I'd like to switch, but don't really want to spend all the money and have duplicate (alternative I guess is to buy the center inlet and sell the inline head)

my relatively small 240v panel eBIAB build

yeah, i basically had the 2nd front fitting for options. temp, whirlpool, etc. Right now just for whirlpool, tilted it up so it drips less when i disconnect

Depressingly....lol I have been keeping track. Including the chiller and everything, almost none of my previous equipment transferred over. I'm at about $1600 for the whole setup.

Spike 240v eBIAB build on an oldschool AV cart

first trial run will probably be next week, just double checking everything at this stage with minimal free time (i'm a resident and have a 2yo...)

my relatively small 240v panel eBIAB build

thanks guys! the weight of the cords was definitely a concern, but didn't want to have to hard mount my panel to the stand. I put the appliance whip plug facing down and the other heavy cord at the bottom. Panel weighs about 4 lbs, set up like this it's not a crazy heavy anchor, but it's also...

Spike 240v eBIAB build on an oldschool AV cart

I found posts like these super helpful when i was planning this thing, so thought I'd share. Was doing a sloppy kettle/cooler mash tun/immersion chiller setup for the past several years and wanted to upgrade to something leaner, faster, easier to wash and store, and more reproducible without...
