    What are you drinking now?

I love lagunitas but this one was a bit sweet for me. I prefer the more bitter, hoppy grapefruit, pine flavors in my IPA. Still a good beer for a cold winter night.

    First time brewer.

So after I transferred to the secondary my volume dropped below 5 gallons. I'm assuming this is from it being moved off the top of the yeast and hop gunk on the bottom? It's been in the secondary for a little over 24 hours and the little bit of yeast that transferred with it has settled to the...

    First time brewer.

I used a fermagraF° adhesive LCD thermometer attached to the side of my carboy. Since it was reading 70 I'm assuming that was my wort temp. I keep my stuff in my garage and it had stayed at this temp since then.

    What are you drinking now?

Smells like fresh pineapple and hints the taste of earthy pine. The flavor immediately made me think Christmas in a bottle.

Lagunitas, heretic, right eye, knee deep etc. A 6 pack of IPA runs around $8 but have seen some charge around $15 for a 4 pack, like revisions Dr. Lupulin or dog fish head 120min. Pyramid has...

    Rebottling beer help

I bough some lagunitas nighttime ale the other day but it only comes in 22oz bombers and I want to re bottle into 6 and 12oz bottles. If I create a co2 blanket on in the neck just before capping can I avoid ruining it?
