    One more question I thought of. My regulators feel pretty high quality and rugged, but unfortunately they don't have check valves (from what I can tell - I'm not sure I know what to look for).     Thanks! For those who are curious, I actually used 3/4 birch plywood (for the veneer) and laminated it against a cheaper 3/4 plywood. Resulted in 1.5 thick collar all the way around. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on solid wood for the collar, eventually I'd like to make a coffin...
