    CO2 fills in Northern Virginia

They told me they don't have an adapter to go from the paintball cylinders to the 5lb tanks. If you can figure that out (which it sounds like there is an option) and they allow you to fill, please report back you'd save a lot of brewers a lot of time and money! I may check it out myself too...

    Raspberry Pi Temp Controller

Not knowing what size relay you need the Fotek SSR's can handle the 3.3v directly from the Raspberry Pi. I'll probably use this one to turn on my fridge. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HZLMTW/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

    TeensyPi Networked Temperature Controller

Did you use any resistors with the RGB LCD to i2c? I just ordered this: http://www.adafruit.com/products/1109 even though I have the 20x4 LCD bc I thought it was my only option as far as using the RGB LCD. Mind sharing how you wired it? Also, I need to turn on a vintage fridge condensor do you...

Raspberry Pi made easy? Complete tutorial in layman's terms needed!

This would be a bot ^ The pi-plate that Adafruit provides make it a two wire ordeal into the i2c GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi and would allow for Red, Green, and Blue to be displayed. Wiring that way requires chips and resistors etc. and I couldn't put it together based on the pictures they...

    Vintage GE Kegerator

Thanks for the reply Kerber! What are your thoughts on using the same temperature sensor with usb adapter into a Hackberry A10 ( https://www.miniand.com/products/Hackberry%20A10%20Developer%20Board) instead of an Arduino Uno. I'd use Python for Android to run the Python scripts...

Raspberry Pi made easy? Complete tutorial in layman's terms needed!

Hey all, To preface this DIY project, I'd like to start out by saying I come from the finance field and a lot of the hardware/software jargon goes right over my head (especially the scripting languages and getting everything to talk to each other). I've spent the better part of two days...

    Vintage GE Kegerator

If you don't mind, can you shed some light on the arduino setup? How did you wire it, which arduino setup you bought off of spark fun, How do you monitor etc. Maybe even some helpful links I could use to set one up for my vintage GE fridge. I'm new to the arduino stuff. Thank you in advance! I'm...

    Collared Keezer List

I know I'm bringing this thread back from the dead somewhat, but is the top of the freezer really necessary? If you insulate a wooden top piece it just sounds fantastically easier to drill the tower, run lines, etc. Am I wrong?

    Man, I love Apfelwein

So for the people using concentrate instead of corn sugar -- You used five to six 12oz cans in addition to 5 gallons of 100% apple juice and then pitched the Montrachet? I don't have any corn sugar local and I'm looking for alternatives. I heard the concentrate would produce a smoother taste...
