New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Kegged my newest hazy Saturday. Only had verdant and less than a month to get it ready for a comp so I had to go with it. Finished right at 8%. Still a fair amount of hop burn really hoping it balances out by sat for this event. Everything else about it seems good so far though I'll post a...

The nelson I got was more grassy and woody then I would have liked so I ended up going super low on it for the beer I was just dry hopping. The Galaxy I got though smelled really good though

I doubt my hazies would be anything close to what they are today without this thread and the help I've gotten from others on here

Anyone ever use any of the Michigan grown hops from MHA for a hazy? Bought three different varieties over the years and I don't think a single one really stood out to me.

I've had varying success with MHA and YVH it's kinda a crapshoot getting good hops from any of the homebrew suppliers tbh. Got bad 24 nelson riwaka and one of their Michigan hops were as hard as rocks Edit: They just refunded me for the hops that were lackluster without issue

Anybody ever do a return or exchange through Michigan hop alliance? Their return policy seems pretty terrible but I reached out to support about it. Ordered about 7 lbs of hops and only about 4 seem usable from my last order

How long do you feel it usually takes your beers to hit their stride after kegging with that big of a DH?

Just got some from MHA and it actually smelled decent. Haven't used it yet at all so gonna throw it in my next beer I brew

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Kegged this beer about 3 weeks ago or so now I believe and it came out as my best hazy to date which I attribute a lot to using my new 6 gallon torpedo keg as a dry hop vessel. Big shout-out to dgallo for answering so many damn questions for me over the last couple years and helping me dial...

Do you do anything special with the incognito to make sure it gets into the wort effectively? Or is just dip hopping with it effective enough? Think I dipped hopped with it once and some stuck to the side of the fermentor yet

When in I first got into hazies in about 2019 Galaxy could not miss. It's fallen far since then

Read a couple of your posts and wanna let you know I feel the same way about.leaving all my aroma behind in the fv. My next couple I'm just gonna do in kegs and see what happens. Everytime I add like 3 oz of loose hops to the keg I always get more aroma then when I add 4x the amount of hops in...
