Sorry, let me be more clear. I don't mean that you have to use a range hood, but rather size the blower as if you were sizing a range hood. For example, my range at home puts out a maximum of 120,000 btus across all burners. That dictates a hood that can draw 900cfm.

Wouldn't a better guideline be to size for a range hood? I think that would be based on BTU rather than air exchange.

Given that stout has distinct offerings for HLT, MLT, and brew pots, can you explain why you chose to use the "same" brew pot as the HLT? Redundancy, perhaps?

A 20a outlet has one plug that looks like a sideways T. It is designed to take either a 15a or a 20a plug. Normal plugs, like you see on most countertop appliances, are 15a plugs. A 20a plug has one vertical and be horizontal blade.

That may have a 20a breaker, but that is a 15a GFCI outlet. If the building wire is 12 gauge, you can swap the outlet. Given the breaker, it had better be 12 gauge wire...
