    Fruit Beer Mango beer

Hello NativeSun, All 2.5 lb of the fresh Mango was used in secondary. I took the flesh of the mango of the pit and froze it for 2 weeks. When I was ready to put in secondary (a day before), I took the mango out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to let it thaw. Then I just threw everything...

    Fruit Beer Mango beer

Hello NativeSun, Yes, I froze the mango first and then added it to the wort in secondary. Not sure whether purée it first will give much more flavor to it. The mango flavor I got was pretty smooth, not overwhelming at all. You basically make a light ale with ingredients mentioned, especially...

    Bottling from keg

Hi, I have pin lock kegs and want to bottle from them. I bleeded the co2 and brought it to 3psi. Put a racking cane onto my beer line and started filling the bottles. Still had a lot of foam coming into the bottle. Any recommendations out there?

    Kegging....

Again, thank you all for the awesome assistance. I was really a bit lost and felt a bit embarrassed to ask... Drinking a barley wine right now, the last beer (for now?) that went straight in the bottle! Cheers!!

So how when you have a dual, which I believe I have?

    Kegging....

Thank you!! I put my beer in a different keg, I believe my other one might have a leak, will check. You also answered my question on how to drop from 30 psi to 12, had no idea how to do that. I should be good to go now Cheers!

    Kegging....

My real question is; do I inject CO2 or do I keep it going? I attach my regulator to my CO2, attach my gas line to the regulator and keg. Then do I open the CO2 bottle and give my keg "a shot of" CO2 or do I keep the CO2 flowing into the keg?

    Kegging....

So I started kegging 2 weeks ago and lost my first CO2 bottle on basically doing it wrong (I assume...). Anyway, I think I have it figured out but one last point. When you put the pressure on the keg to 30psi, do you let it sit on there for 24 hours. In other words, does the CO2 have to stay on...

    Fruit Beer Mango beer

Okay, I am not a fan of Fruit beer at all, and the only reason I made this one was because my wife asked me (yep...) to make a batch for her cousin. I used 2.5lbs of fresh mango in the secondary (the mango was cut and frozen about 2 weeks before using it in the secondary). I used Citra hops...

    android software

Same here, I use BrewR for basically all my creations. Great sw to use, easy and easily to maintain. Lots of stuff already pre-entered, but you can also add your own hops and such. Do wish they would support ciders and such too.
